Infants and Toddlers

Dear Parents,

We had a wonderful week! Our spring break is one week away, it is going to be from 19th of March to 23rd.

Large Group

This week for large group we started by doing our attendance board then we sang the ‘Good Morning’ song followed by a song the children choose ‘Baa baa black sheep’ and ‘The wheels on the bus’ then we read a book called the ‘Going to bed book’.

Small Group

This week for small group we had Music, Art, Light box, Tasting and Exploring with shapes.

Tasting activity, we had salt, sugar, vinegar and Olive oil on our testing table. After we took time tasting we talked about what it felt or tasted like. Some thought each one’s tasted sweet some thought of tasking certain material again and again, some thought it was yacky . We also introduce some vocabulary like sweet, sour and bitter.

Shapes: This week we explored with three different shapes, Circle, Triangle and Square. We talked about the shape what they look like, if they look the same or different. Then we got busy sorting the shapes in different containers.
