Infants and Toddlers

Dear Parents,

We had a nice week. We are happy to say our lettuce and carrots are finally ready for us to take home. We have been watering and weeding and helping each other understand how to take care of plants in the process. We hope you can take time to plant the carrots and lettuce in your garden!!

School will be closed on the 6th and 9th of April for Ethiopian Easter!

Large group

This week we started our large group by doing the attendance board followed by the ‘Good morning song’. Then we sang two new songs based on our focus of the week that is farm and jungle animals, the songs were ‘Mommy is taking us to the Zoo’ and ‘Ali Baba’s Farm’. We finished our large group by reading ‘Peek-a-Who?’

Small Group

This week our small group activities were Art, Music, Cars Trucks and Trains, and Jungle and Farm animals

Jungle and Farm Animals: The children really enjoyed exploring with different animal puzzles.

Cars, Trucks and Trains: The children had fun time exploring with different types of cars, trucks and trains and making train tracks for the trains.

Reminders

Please don’t forget to send the children’s library folder on Thursday, as it is there library day.

On Wednesday send the children with art clothe.
