Early Pre-School this week
It was another Great week in our class. We had fun playing together and getting to know each other. We welcomed Dalia from her extended break and were excited to see her.
Large Group
We start our large group by reading books. The book “Little Line Shares” had continued to be the most popular book among the group. This week as a board message we talked about shapes, basics colors, basic social interactions like saying Please and Thank you. Next week we are planning to read books about the Weather and how the weather is changing.
Small group
Math:We continued our counting activity with different shapes. The kids enjoyed counting and helping our friend Sam.
Science: This we investigated the differences in weight. We gave heavy and light materials and we tried to see if they could spot differences in weight. Some of the assessments we heard include “This is heavy”, “Can I have the heavy one?” and ” I can pick this up, this is not heavy”
Literacy:in literacy we devloped our scribbling skills on the wall. We practiced making straight lines and circles. we also used different colored cryones and talked about the shapes we drew.
