Pre-School and Early Pre-k

Dear parents

So good to have you all back to school! Everyone missed their friends, teachers and the school. We spent most of our large group talking about how the break was and how they spent it. Some of them shared the places they visited and what they did and it seems like almost everyone had a great break! It’s been a fun week for all of us.

What we have been doing for the small group

Monday; it was a fun Monday for us, we picked some puzzles and different small animals to explore with. They all figured out how to put the puzzle back on and they helped each other in doing so.

Tuesday math; we wanted to refresh their memories by doing some number identification and some pattern with beads.

Wednesday science; we wanted to focus on classifications for our next three weeks. And this week we repeated the last activity which was about weather, they classified the different type of clothes to wear for different weather.

Zoo-phonics Thursday; our literacy class was so much fun they enjoyed it very much. We did matching the zoo phonics with the materials we picked from our classroom like sandals, tissue, baby toys, plates, etc. So we matched them with the first sound of the letter. Next week we will be starting alliteration.

In our specials

Art; we finished our rainbow project but they wanted to add more to it.

Music; music was fun; we created our classroom musics with our musical instruments!!

Reminders

Wednesday is our Art day, please make sure your child wear their ‘Art clothes’ because we use paints and our activities get messy!

Friday is our Library day!! Don’t forget to send library folders so your child can choose a new book.

Please send your child with sunscreen and hat.
