Infants and Toddlers

Dear parents,

It was another amazing week here at Little Einsteins.We will be closed on Friday, April 26th and 29th for Easter Celebration. We will also be closed on May 1st for Labour Day.

Large Group

This week for large group the children had a wonderful time exploring with the different areas we have in our large group room. We added a new corner to our room, this week we took our animal’s corner out and we brought back our reading corner, as the children were more interested in books.

Small Group

This week for small group we had music, art, texture feeling, sink and float, and jars and lids. We had a fun time doing sink and float.

For Sink and Floatwe had a fun time exploring with different materials that were heavy and light. We started the activity by talking about why some objects sink and why some objects float, then we gave a chance to the children to predict before they put the materials in the water which ones would float and which ones would sink. After that the children started putting the materials in the water. They where really excited to see some of the materials at the bottom and some at the top of the clear box.

Reminder

Every Wednesday, please make sure your child wears old clothes and shoe for art class. We send out Library books on Wednesdays’; please make sure to send it back on time.
