Hello parents,

It was a wonderful week. We enjoyed socializing with each other and having fun together. The dry Weather is getting stronger, so we kept ourselves hydrated by drinking lots of water.

Quick Reminder:

School will be closed From November 7th to 11th for Fall Break!!!
There will be an optional Parent Teacher Conference on the 3rd and 4th of November. Schedule a time from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

What Early Preschool and Preschool have been up to in our:

Cooperative Games Day, this week we had such a fun game, we enjoyed it well. The game goes like this; we had foot and handprints drawn on a mat, we then waited for our turn to jump on those prints one had one footprint and the other got one handprint that was too tricky. That was such a good way of learning to concentrate.

Literacy: - We keep exploring our zoo phonics. We have been revising the letters and sounds that we have learnt before and we meet up with the letter ‘Hh’. And discuss about words that start with the letter ‘Hh’. We had found names that start with that letter among our friends. And lots of words too!!

Science: - We were working on ourselves these days. We have been practicing how to zip zippers, jackets, vests, and trousers that we wear. Some of us find it challenging but we all were trying. We all liked working around with zippers!

Art class: We had an easy work. Past week we have been discussing about the weather change, we are experiencing the sunny days and observing the leaves falling. After talking about season changing and sharing our observation, we collected bunch of dried-up leaves, and we explored on the colors, shapes, and texture of the leaves then we painted different colors of our choice and stamp it on the paper to see the result. It turned out to be such an amazing artwork!!

Math: - We repeated the shapes activities this week. We have been revising the shapes that we have been working on for the past few weeks. We had fun revision activities by letting the children identify the shapes and put it on the box that has different shapes like ’Circle’, ’Triangle’ and ‘Square’. We all enjoyed the exploration.

Library Day: library is one of the places we enjoyed reading books. We explored different books in the library. We were busy reading in groups and choosing books that we can read alone and at home with family and friends!
