Blog For Early Preschool,Preschool And Early Pre -K
Happy Friday Everybody !!
Hope this Blog finds you well. We would love to share our weekly activities in our Blog please have a look!!
Our school friend pre k and kindergarten were having a football match with ICS school .They went to ICS to have the match and make new friends there .Both teams played wonderfully and the match ended with 3 -3 result !!
Then we all were waiting them in our compound having flags on hand and cheered for them . We are excited and proud of them.
As a part of our daily routine, we always read books, sing songs and discuss about our kids interest in our large group which is our kids favorite part of the day.
Focuses of our small group
Cooperative game:
Balancing allows children to have better control over their bodies. Once balance is mastered it occurs naturally; allowing children to move their attention and focus onto other things. Thus we have been playing a balancing game that our kids enjoy and develop their; foot-eye co-ordination, active learning and their motor skill development as well .We were having musical dots arranged on the floor by a row of one, two and three then we have been jumping and standing with one foot on one dot and step on two legs on the two dots. That was somehow tricky some of us forget to step in one foot and step in two. However we love it, enjoyed, played and explores the game.
Science:
As we have been exploring about internal and external body parts in our previous classes thus ,Our kids were very curious to know more about themselves .So we continue to explore discuss and dig more about food that will keep both internal and external parts of our body. We start our class by having an amazing and interesting discussion about food that they love to eat .Then we continue to categories them in to groups of two by titling health food and not healthy .Our kids have such good knowledge that makes our discussing surprising.
"No lots of sweets"
"My brother loves to ear chocolate all the time is it good food"
"Cucumber is healthy says my mum"
"Only one chocolate I eat today and am fine"
"Milk makes us healthy”
"Banana is fine food"
"Drinking lots of water is healthy”
A healthy diet and a healthy eating routine are the key factors in overall health. It is important that to discus and explore with our kids about healthy eating habits at an early stage so that it gets teach them.
Math;
Exploring about measurement concepts to our kids allows them to grasp the basics so they can build upon those skills later. Eventually, our kids will use measurement skills for everyday tasks such as organizing objects in the class room as well at home, while playing with different types of object abs so on. You might be surprised by how much measuring your child is doing at such a young age. We have been using balance scale to measure the weight of the woods that we collect from our class.
"This measures heavy”
"It seems equal"
"Can I have one more to make it heavy?"
"It is light because it goes up"
This provides kids with a visual understanding which builds a solid foundation for higher mathematical concepts later on.
Work time
As we have different creating and exposure centers for our kids to explore our kids like exposure to dancing, mud activities, gymnastics, and art and read books in library are the centers that our kids love to explore, enjoy and learn as well. Such kind of exposure can obtain the interest and ability of our amazing kid’s .We is really excited to see our kids creating such amazing things every time!
