Dear Parents,

It was another great week in early preschool and preschool class. We hope you enjoyed the fall break. We spent our week doing so many exciting and fun activities that helped and still helping our children in developing their social skills emotions and so many learning areas. We all excited to see their improvements in all aspects. We also welcomed a new friend to our class; we like to say welcome to our new friend Isaiah.

Exploration of Early Preschool and Preschool.

We continued practicing zoo phonics (sounds of Alphabet letters) from Aa to Hh and working together while making AB and ABC patterns! We also added washing activities for our science class by washing the washable toys, blocks, and Legos that we had in our class! In addition, we had story time to the children took turn choosing a book to read and take it home to read it with parents and friends!!

Cooperative Game, one of the lessons we get from having game days is taking turns. We had been playing games like this, we had different color shapes, orange circle, purple triangle, and red square all the colors were coded, orange circle means walking and purple triangle means standing, and the red square is for standing.

We then start to look on the colors and follow the rules. While the color is red, some of us were walking and some were sitting. So, as we agreed if we miss the color cods we need to sit on a mat and cheer up for our friends who were still in the game. We enjoyed it well!! This game was important for social skills and plays a vital role in the development of communication skills and successful social interactions!!

Math - This week we have been working on exploring patterns. We started with reading patterns. We were excited to take turns reading AB patters using different colored materials that we have in our class and we were focusing on ABC patterns it was a bit challenging but we all managed to take our time and work on our patterns.

Science: - We had been discussing to make our classroom clean by cleaning up the toys and blocks that we were playing with. After that we decided to wash some of the washable blocks and Legos that are easy to wash. We collect some sponges and soap to help us to wash our blocks. We put on our art smacks to keep our clothes dry while washing the blocks. We fill the bucket with water and some soap on it that was such enjoyable moment to wash all the things. We all get wet and splashy, but we had fun!!!!

Art: - This week in our art class, we were working on our project, abstract art work, that we start doing before weeks. All the paints that we blow got dried, so we have them back, we started to decorate it with googly eyes and markers. Some of us find our work like big dinosaurs, cats, and puppies so we draw hands, tails, and legs too. We love our project!!

Gymnastics: Gymnastics helps child learn to follow instructions to watch, listen and think independently. Our children's were enjoying jumping ,rolling and balancing in the class .Gymnastic is becoming a chosen class by our children's.
