Hello Parents!

How was your week? We had a fantastic time in Early Preschool and Preschool! Please take a moment to enjoy reading our blog and looking at the wonderful pictures of your children in action. We hope you enjoy seeing all the fun and learning they’ve been a part of this week!

Large group

Our large group session is always a great way to kick off the day! We begin by singing our cheerful good morning song, setting a positive tone for everyone. After that, we discuss the weather and the days of the week, helping our students stay connected to the world around them. We also take attendance, ensuring everyone is ready for the day ahead.

One of the most exciting parts of the session is the message board activity. We ask the students about their favorite things to create on the canvas. Some students shared their love for unicorns, books, and bikes, giving us a fun glimpse into their interests and imaginations. It's a wonderful time to bond, learn more about each other, and start the day feeling smooth and stable.

Small group

Literacy

In our literacy session, we dove into a fun and creative activity—journaling! Each student grabbed their journal book and their favorite crayons, and the room filled with color and imagination. It was amazing to see them draw everything from cars, houses, and rockets, to pictures of their mommy and daddy. Not only was it a great opportunity for artistic expression, but it also gave us a chance to hear their thoughts and stories. Seeing their creativity flow and listening to their unique ideas was truly special. It’s moments like these that make our literacy sessions so meaningful and enjoyable!

Math

This week in our math session, we had a blast with a hands on activity- hunting for numbers in the sand! We started by counting from 1 to 10 together, followed by a fun counting number song to get everyone excited. Then, we headed to the sandbox, where the teacher had hidden small flashcards with numbers 1-10 in the sand. On the mat, we laid out large number cards, and the students eagerly dug through the sand to find the matching flashcards. Once they found one, they matched it to the big number cards. It was such a fun and active way to learn numbers! The students absolutely loved the hands-on activity, and it was great to see them engaged and excited about math.

Science

In our recent science session, we had a fun and hands-on activity — making playdough as a group! We started by asking the students about the materials needed, and almost all of them were able to name the ingredients: flour, water, oil, salt, and food coloring. We prepared everything and then, turn by turn, the students helped mix the ingredients by hand. They really enjoyed the process! Once the playdough was ready, the students got to choose their favorite food colors — most of them picked red and yellow.

Each student received a small piece of playdough to mix with their chosen color. It was a joyful and engaging time. The best part? The students were so excited to take their homemade playdough home! We packed it in plastic bags and they carefully put them in their school bags. This activity was not just about science — it was also a great example of teamwork and creativity. The students loved it!

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics session this week was filled with energy and excitement! We kicked things off with some light stretching, followed by jogging and running to get everyone warmed up and ready to move. Next, we headed to the balancing board, where students practiced their coordination and focus. After that, we set up a chair for the next activity. The students took turns lying on the chair as part of a fun and engaging balance and strength exercise. It was a great time for everyone – full of laughter, learning, and movement. The students really enjoyed the session and are already looking forward to the next one!

Art

In our art session, we completed a vibrant and fun project—air balloon canvas paintings! Our students brought their creativity to life using their favorite colors: purple, pink, yellow, red, orange, green, and brown.

It was a wonderful time filled with focus, laughter, and lots of colorful expression. Each student worked hard and showed amazing attention to detail, making their hot air balloons truly unique.
