March Fun With The Infants Class

Dear Parents,

We hope all is well! Here in the infants class, we’ve had a wonderful past two weeks filled with fun and engaging activities. The children enjoyed their time exploring, learning, and playing together. We’ve also been excitedly preparing for family day! The children are looking forward to this special event, and we hope you can join us to celebrate together.

Large Group

We started our large group with our usual routine of singing the Good Morning song together. After that, we gave the children a chance to choose a song from the music book. They eagerly selected a song, and we all stood up and danced to I Like to Move It, moving energetically and having fun. Next, we did our attendance activity. The children took turns sticking their pictures on the happy face, showing excitement as they participated. We ended the activity with cheerful high-fives. To wrap up our large group time, we read “Get Ready to Dress”, engaging the children in the story and encouraging them to think about daily routines.

Cooperative Game: Ball Transfer

Our recent cooperative activity was an interactive, energetic delight! First, we prepared the materials by filling a tub with water and adding colorful balls along with various kitchen utensils. We then explained the activity to the children, demonstrating how to pick up the balls using the kitchen tools and transfer them to an empty tub. Once the children understood, they eagerly began the game. They carefully picked up the balls with the utensils and placed them in the empty tub. The children were very happy and engaged, enjoying the challenge and excitement of the activity.

Literacy and Language

We started our literacy and language activity with an engaging animal matching game. First, we sang an animal song together, encouraging the children to sing along and practice different animal sounds. After warming up, we introduced the activity. The children were given animal toys and asked to match them with the corresponding pictures. They took turns matching one animal at a time, carefully placing each toy on the correct picture. Throughout the activity, they also helped their friends by guiding them and saying where to place the animals. The children were excited, engaged, and eager to participate, strengthening their vocabulary and teamwork skills.

Art

In the first class, we explored painting with tissue rolls. We gave the children the opportunity to choose their own colors, and they excitedly selected green and yellow. They then began painting the tissue rolls, carefully covering them in their chosen colors. In the next class, we introduced the next step of the activity—cutting the tissue rolls and using them on a canvas. The children were very engaged and focused as they arranged and worked with the painted pieces. They showed great concentration and enthusiasm throughout the process, enjoying the creative experience.

Library

During our library session, we started by giving the children a chance to choose their favorite book. They eagerly made their selections, showing excitement in picking stories that interested them. After choosing, they found a comfortable spot on the pillows, carefully turning the pages and engaging with their books. They explored the pictures and words, enjoying the quiet and focused reading time. At the end of the session, we gathered together and chose one book to read aloud as a group. The children listened attentively, sharing their thoughts and enjoying the storytelling experience.

Clay

During our clay session, we worked on painting our group project, which included a turtle and a flower boat. The children were very excited as they collaborated to bring their creations to life with colors. They carefully painted the boat and the turtle together, sharing brushes and helping each other. Their smiles and enthusiasm showed how much they enjoyed the activity. It was a wonderful experience of teamwork and creativity!
