Our 100th Day Celebration Week In Kindergarten!!

Hello dear parents,

How was your week? Our week was filled with learning, laughter and sharing and caring for one another .This week also marked the 100th day of coming to school we were all excited and have been counting down ,writing and sticking the days on our caterpillar on the wall until it marked 100 this Tuesday. We celebrated the day by sharing cookie with all the people that are in our school compound we were also taking pictures and having fun.

Large group

For our large group session, we started by singing the good morning song. Green was our color for this week as well as Triangular Prism was our shape for the whole week. We have been discussing hygiene, clay, how we draw things together on a canvas and maker space  and also how we are going to be able to use recycled materials to create the things that they want to, and we were really amazed by their ideas.  It was a week filled with learning and being respectful and friendly. 

Literacy

This week for our literacy session we were decorating our 100 day board by writing on it. We had given a chance for every child to tell us ‘’100 days of what?’’, they were all saying sweet words and we were happy as well as proud of them. They all had a fun way of learning.

Math

For our math session, we counted all the caterpillars in the classroom as well as we learned addition using our cookies that we had for the celebration that marked the 100th day of school we add as well as count and also shared during that day .We had an active learning and engaging session filled with laughter and happiness.

Library

This week for our library session we read the book ‘Seymour and Henry’ which they choose to listen to and they were eager and excited to listen to the next part of the story, after reading a book together they choose a book by themselves and were reading with friends and also alone, they had an amazing library week.

Science

This week our science session was filled with discussion about compost materials as well as doing a worksheet on differentiating the recycled material as well as compost materials and all the kids were happy as well as engaged.

Art

This week for our art session we let the kids do the projects on our canvas and they were all doing it together by giving each other a chance to paint out ‘Tv Man' canvas ideas and were helping one another.

Reminder

-  Every Wednesday is our library day, so we will be sending a book that your child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.

-  Every Wednesday we have Football, so please send your child with football appropriate clothing.

-  Every Thursday is our art day so please send your child with art appropriate clothing.
