Dear Parents

Hello, we had a fun and exciting week. The children were learning fun and exciting ways of knowing their Addition, consonant and vowel letters.

Large group

For our large group session, we started by singing the good morning song, explored the color blue, participating in the circle time calendar activity strengthened our time management skills, sharing about our days allowed us to connect with one another. It was a week filled with learning, creativity, and friendship.

Small group

Literacy

For our literacy we have done the CVC words like we did in the previous classes and our kids were more engaged and happy with the activity that we did, which was reading out loud the CVC word using a play dough and also were calling out the CVC word they know by seeing pictures. This activity encouraged the children to read aloud the CVC words they build.

Math

This week for our math activity we did addition, which was engaging and also it was a week filled with team work through this activity our kids helped each other out by holding the cloth hanger one by one, by giving out the papers that we have prepared by our own with the kids, we have also developed our addition skill by writing out the numbers on laminated numbers.

Science

For our science activity this week we did a moving caterpillar which was fun and engaging for the kids! Used tissue paper, water, glue and markers. The kids were happy to see a moving caterpillar, also have been asking to do it again and most of them have done it more than ones they have loved it and also as we did it in a team and they were waiting each other to see their caterpillars moving one by one.

Art

For our art session this week our kids got creative using their own unique creations of idea to explore their artistic area of interest they have done what is in their mind and had fun while expressing their ideas.

Reminder

• Every Wednesday is our library day, so we will be sending a book that your child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.

• Every Thursday is our art day so please send your child with art appropriate clothing.
