Our Kindergarten Fun Week!!!

Dear Parents,

This week was a week filled with laughter and happiness as well as learning new things and getting creative here is a glimpse of our week enjoy our Blog.

Large group

For our large group session, we started by singing the good morning song, participating in the circle time calendar activity strengthened our time management skills, and sharing about our days allowed us to connect with one another. It was a week filled with learning, being respectful, creativity, and friendship.

Small group

Literacy

This week for our literacy session we did sight words, but in a more fun and engaging way which was by a tic-tac-toe which was done by group and the kid really enjoyed it and were having fun while doing it we also did a parking car sight word game, this games made them have a good team work as well as it helped them know the sight words very well and we were happy to see them engaged and happy while learning.

Math

For our math session this week we did subtraction, addition as well as we also did some less and more concept and all the kids were excited to try this concept, they were writing the number that they wanted to compare and were comparing the numbers that they feel comfortable with some of the kids were comparing bigger numbers like 99, 88, 77 while the others were comparing smaller numbers what really amazed us was how the kids are this familiar with numbers and how they enjoy playing with numbers.

Science

This week for our science session we did something that the kids are engaged with which is as we all know technological things like rocket ship, transformer airplane, stars, transformer car, so what we tried to do this week is give them out the materials that we have in the classroom like that of a magnets, and bristle locks so they could show us their creativity and all the kids did what they planned to do and all of them did a really amazing job with it they were having fun while creating something that makes them happy the class was filled with happiness and a lot of silences since they were so focused on their works.

Art

For our art session this week we did a collage using a rice and with that the kids created a nice colorful bird which they really enjoyed to do as well as took all their time and they were engaged at the same time were doing the collage on their own by being active this class was also filled with a lot of fun.

Reminder

- Every Wednesday is our library day, so we will be sending a book that your child picked from our library, which will be returned after a week on library day.

- Every Wednesday we have Football, so please send your child with football appropriate clothing.

- Every Thursday is our art day so please send your child with art appropriate clothing.
