Our Week of Wonderful in Early preschool and Preschool!

Hello dear parents,

How was your week? We had an amazing week in Early Preschool and Preschool! Our little ones were busy finishing up their airplanes and adding final touches to their dinosaur canvas. It was a week full of creativity, fun, and lots of learning. We’re so proud of all the progress the children made and can’t wait to see what’s next! As a reminder, tomorrow (Saturday March 22) is our family day celebration and official opening of our new compound. We hope to see you all there!

Happy Birthday Barkin!

Large group

In our recent large group session, we took a moment to reflect on our previous Family Day celebrations. We asked the students to share their memories and experiences to see how much they remembered. Some of the students excitedly recalled how their mommy and daddy came to school, they ate ice cream, and proudly showed their parents around the classroom. New students also shared their thoughts, making the conversation even more special. We then discussed how there is a family day coming up this weekend, and the whole class was buzzing with anticipation! After the discussion, we kicked off the day with our joyful “Good Morning” song, took attendance, and talked about the weather and the days of the week. It was a fun and interactive session that the children really enjoyed, and it was heartwarming to see how much they loved reflecting on such a memorable event! We look forward to more activities that keep our students engaged and excited.

Math

In our recent math session, we started by discussing shapes with the children, focusing on circles. After the discussion, we provided each child with a worksheet and different colored papers, along with UHU glue. The children were then asked to choose their favorite colors and begin the activity.

They started by cutting and ripping the colored paper, and then they added glue to the circle shape on their worksheet. Next, they stuck the small pieces of paper onto the circle, creating a fun collage. This activity was not only a great way to reinforce shape recognition but also helped improve fine motor skills. The class was incredibly focused, and it was clear they enjoyed every moment of the process. It was a wonderful and engaging learning experience for everyone!

Art

In our latest art session, we introduced a new canvas idea centered around dinosaurs. The students had a blast as we added a 3D mountain to the scene by mixing brown paint, tissue paper, and glue. The creative process didn’t stop there—each child carefully placed different types of rocks around the mountain to bring the landscape to life. The final product was incredibly vibrant and visually striking, capturing the children's imaginations. The students were thrilled with their creations, and it was heartwarming to see how much they enjoyed bringing their dinosaur-themed artwork to life. A truly fun and engaging experience for all!

Literacy

In our recent journal session, the students had the opportunity to express their creativity in their journal books. Using a variety of colors, each child drew things they love, from numbers to houses, cars, and airplanes. It was a wonderful time of self-expression, as the children immersed themselves in their artwork. The session was full of energy, and the students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their individual interests and talents. It was a delightful experience watching their creativity come to life on paper, and we look forward to more moments of artistic exploration in the future!

Science

In our latest science session, we wrapped up our airplane project by painting flags on the back of each plane using the students' favorite colors. It was exciting to watch the entire process unfold, from the first brushstroke to the final touch. The students were so happy with their work, and once the painting was complete, we placed the planes in a sunny spot to dry. It was a wonderful time of hands-on learning, and the students were fully engaged throughout the activity. Seeing their progress and the joy on their faces when they finished was truly rewarding. It was a great experience for everyone!
