Preschoolers

Hello dear parents,

Although our week was a little short, we had lots of fun while exploring with different materials.

Our preschool family has welcomed a new friend to our group; we would like to say welcome to Alisa.

What have we been up to this week?

This week for small group we had Math, Literacy and Library.

Math: this week we continued working on our activity what comes before and after a certain number.

We started of the activity by placing numbers from one to ten on the floor of our classroom, but when we placed the numbers, we didn’t put them in the correct order. Following that the children chose a random number and tried to find the number that came before and after the number they chose.

Literacy: during our literacy activity we introduced the children beginning sounds of words. As we were introducing beginning sounds to the children we decided to start with the beginning of their names and names of their friends. During our activity the children tried to sound out the first letter of their name and following that the children tried to match the sound with the letters.

· Every Wednesday we have art so please send your children with art appropriate clothing.
