Preschoolers

Hello dear parents,

We had a wonderful week! We have been working really hard on our art projects; we can’t wait for you to see them during our annual art auction that is going to be held on the 28th of May.

We hope you join us!

What have we been up to?

This week for small group we had cooperative games. literacy, math and library.

Math: on our math day we had a fun time talking about numbers that precedes some numbers. We started our activity with number recognition followed by placing a number on the board then we asked the children what number came before the number they stick on the board. The children were respectful and waited for their turns.

Cooperative: this week for cooperatives, we played two of the children’s favorite games, which were duck duck goose and musical chairs. While playing these games the children were really energetic and had lots of fun.

Literacy: our literacy activity this week was beginning sounds of our names. We started our activity by saying our names out loud one by one. Following that we had the children stick pictures of themselves then sound out the first letter of their name.

· Every Wednesday we have art so please send your children with art appropriate clothing.

· We recommend you to send a hat and sunscreen for your child, as it gets sunny after snack.
